I never listen to country, but this song got my hooked to it.

i have been in love with this song since it first played on the radio. The lyrics and brad's and allison's voices are AMAZING. then I saw this video. I get chills every single time i hear the song, and I get chills and tears come to my eyes every time i see this video. Rick Schroder does a great job too. absolutely amazing.

People who either inflict that much pain on others or on themselves aren't ready for love. People have to be able to take care of themselves before they enter a relationship... love isn't just about joining a male and female to have babies, it's about being able to live with happiness which, I hate to break to you lovergirls and loverboys, lies within YOURSELF regardless of others' actions. The story is sad because they killed themselves, not because they killed each other. Compassion saves.

This video doesn't do the song justice. They don't even show the characters with guns in their hand, much less take their own lives (besides drinking). That and I didn't feel the chemistry between the two. The song gets me going, the video pisses me off.
