That was not a real stage 5. Go to dragtimes website, view some timeslips, and see how fast a real stage 4 or 5 can run. 12.16 is stock numbers for some E55 drivers.

I know this is beating a dead horse but you need to look at the earliest posts. The DA the evening of this race was over 6000'. The Z06 was cammed with headers and barely ran an 11.9. It should have been 11.0 or 11.0. You gotta do your homework so you don't look like an ignoramous.

It's not homework. That's my car. I am the one that paid for the RT Stage 5. It dynos at 484 hp and nearly 600 ft/lbs or torque. If I ran that car at sea level it would run in the low 11's, just like all the other stage 5's. That's just the way it is in Vegas...high times due to high DA. Facts of life.

I don't think there is any Renntech Stage 5 E55 anywhere in the world that has broken into the 10's. There are only a handful of E55's that have done that (nitrous). Besides, you have to read the entire post to see that the DA was over 6000 feet for that race to understand why both cars had slow times.

Quite a few stock E55's have ran sub 12 secs in the 1/4, Mine ran 11.96@118mph. The record is 11.7@118mph for bone stock! Thanks.

@Rudyrono Wait a minute, your car ONLY dynos 484 at the wheels with a stg 5?!!! That's pretty weak... Stock these cars dyno near 450 hp.. U should be 550-575 rwhp with Renntech stg 5. Vegas track is low in alt (2000') You'd have to have 105+ drgrees, low dew point of 5* and a low barometric pressure of 28.85 or less which means weather in the area.. It's not often for the DA to get to 6000' in Vegas I can accept 4500 feet in this case but not 6000'+ no.

its not a real stage five. If his car is stage five, then my car is stage 10! hahahahaha. Im at 550rwhp and I haven't raced or tracked it yet, but at 484hp, I ran a 11.87 with bad traction. Check out the video.

LOL! I've seen stock w211 E55's running 11.9's. the record for a stock E55 is 11.07 @121. So when I see this stage 5 running stock times... it looks like it needs a new driver.

I'll beat this dead horse a little more. The DA on 3-21-07 at LVMS was between 3000 and 3500ft that night. Look it up. Bad DA, but no where remotely close to 6000ft. If corrected to 0 ft DA, that puts the "stage 5" at high 11's and trapping under 120mph. This is a misrepresentation of what some other stage 2, 3, 4, and 5 E55s can do, which is very low 11's at 123+ mph.
