why are berkeys so expencive?

They don't need electricity, they filter bacteria and chemicals, they filter a lot of water, the filter can last for years and the system is built to last.

You get what you pay for!

I bought my berkey from a authorized berkey dealer in Roseville, California. Technically they are illegal to purchase for human consumption but if you sign a form that says you will use it for pet water then it can be purchased.

Be Prepaired! When the Boy Scouts say it people think it's a good idea. When I tell my friends I store water for emergencies they joke that I'm silly.

I have woke up days when my water was off with the street torn up and repair men throwing their cigarette buts in the hole. In the past we had the Civil Air Defense and Fall out Shelters planned in highway bridges and schools. Don't laugh at me when you get thirsty and want my water.

I don't see how my having a complex or not changes anyything I said about your country. More likely it is a distraction shot back from someone who realizes what I said is all true. So I am sorry that you can't reihn in your government, and I'm sorry that it will continue to be the enemy of all free people in the world, a sell out to its people, and will be the death of us all.

I thought you started a "my country's better than your country" contest. My mistake. I was showing you that US thinks it's pretty amazing, but all it is is a group of ignorant people who sit there while their government meddles in the rest of the world. The people are supposed to have the reihns in their hands, and the govt, their horses. But it's the other way around. Why don't you tell me what you have contributed to the world first?

Yeah, you're probably right. USA is probably way better than Canada. Even though we invented the fastest and most manuverable fighter jet in the world (avero aero) almost twice as good as your best at that time. And the Canadarm, acetylene gas, electron microscope, insulin, the lightbulb, the telephone, the cobalt bomb, fiberglass insulation, kerosene, tracers (bullets), the pacemaker, the zipper, and the variable pitch propeller (helicopter) and screw propellar (submarines).

I think I'll stay where I am. The last thing I want to do is live in Mexico or USA. And I know you don't care what I or any other foreign person thinks. That's the general stance among your people. It doesn't stop you from starting illegal wars, and murdering millions of innocent people though. It IS my "business how or why" you do anything, because your country is messing with every country in the world.

I don't assume. I have heard "americans" call nuclear nuke-you-lar every time. I don't think I've ever heard an "american" say nuclear correctly. By the way, how come "americans" call themselves "americans"? America is everything from the southern tip of south america, to the north pole. To a non-"american", it comes off as extremely self-centered.
