I never covered my head until recently because only recently I begin to believe the Creator's words as if blinders have been removed from my eyes. And now I happily and joyfully cover my head to honor my Elohim. I don't know the reason and maybe someday I will know, but reasons aren't important to me anymore, what's become important is doing what my Creator asks of me.

We are supposed to separate ourselves from the worldly culture. Women of this culture know that a headscarf represents women in subbmission to men. Women are to take pride in the fact that they submit themselves to their husbands. It is the best way for a woman to place her light on a stick so that all the land can see. God covers us with our hair and jesus covered us with the spirit and women are to be covered by a cloth. So a wife is covered by all those in authority over her.

@sixthheretic I'm just finding it hard to understand the reasoning for it. I am unable to find any logic behind it. Most of the commands in the bible are seemingly based on logic & reason but in this instance I'm finding such a command void of both.

The Reason that a woman has to wear a headscarf and a man does not is because the bible tells women to wear a head scarf and not men. I didnt write the book. I just teach what it says.

I dont see any reason why a woman should have to wear a head scarf but a man shouldnt.  Im all for modest clothing for women & men, but the headscarves go over the line.
