This was the one with the cook who didn't speak English and everyone was scared of him. Actually a good bit, wonder how it would have turned out had the show continued on.

This series, Gary David Goldberg's first as creator/producer, aired on CBS' Monday night schedule at 8:30pm(et) in the 1979-'80 season. Tragically, Larry Breeding- and Hod David Schudson, wrote the theme and score- died young {Schudson in November 1980; Breeding in October 1982}.
