Governments are there to serve the people and obey people's will and demands. This is called DEMOCRACY. Instead wee elect assholes who want to rule, make laws that have nothing to do with population wishes and if we strart electing better people who want to serve instead of rule over us we will have much better countries, systems and freedom.
