I thought they should have addressed the defensive side first. I would have been happy with Vontae davis, trading back like a couple of teams in the second round and grabbing a guy like Ron Brace. I understand theFreeman pick, I just not sure why they pulled the trigger on a guy with so many concerns...

comparing Flacco to Freman may not be fair. Flacco was alot more polished coming out. Freeman is a project... We should have a great running game for whoever is qb but the defense is a big uncertainty... State of the union for defense is coming soon.

remember guys...this was my initial opinion based on what I knew at the time. I was shocked like alot of fans. With a First round you expect immediate help. this guy will take some time. Not doubting his potential, just shocked at the decision to draft him and at that point. He is the future and all of Tampa needs to get behind this kid and be patient. There will be no attacking of Josh Freeman, but you all can expect some serious questions about how this decision came to be. thanks for the love

as a fan of a team that has addressed the defensive side of the ball numerous times in the past and they ALL have been busts, Josh freeman is a stud. His desire to win is unmeasurable. I really think he is way better already than mccown. Get him a wideout that he can throw to and the bucs will be alright. Ive met josh in person and i watched him play at ksu for 3 years...oh, and the big 12 is weak???? cmon. 2nd best conference in america. Number don't lie man..

Thanks for posting this! Same reaction. You know you liked him against the Pack though! We have huge holes to fill but now we can focus on getting some killers. He sat and watched JJ and BL play and came in and played like a pro. He was cool in there. I think Raheem liked that quality. We'll see!
