Our 6th submitted poem comes from the poet Kamal Supreme and is entitled "The 'N' Word." This is the most controversial of our submitted pieces. Kamal Supreme is taking a stand against a word that is perhaps the most vile of all words.
Shattered Thought is proud to showcase this poem on our site and on iTunes. Visit http://www.shatteredthought.com to get this video on iTunes and your ipod for free

Thank you. I have mad respect for you and what your speaking. Its tragic when you see all races tossing the word as if it has no history, its pure ignorance.

So when black people say "What's up, my nigger?" it's not socially acceptable?

Keep it for historical purposes but not to say "C'mon you stupid black nigger" This is what I hear on the streets by youth of all colors. Not acceptable!

I said that no one should use it unless it is for dramatic arts that reflect on history.

I'm white, and I find it very discriminating against my ethnicity that I am not allowed to use the N-word simply because I'm white, whilst other black people are allowed to use it, simply because they're black.
