Long Jump practice

this was filmed today at my high school (hoover high school, yes yes, from two-a-days) and im basically a beginner at long jump. ive competed once and ive been practicing for about 2 weeks total. the main jump on the video is about 18 feet 6 inches or 5.6 meters. my technique is usually hang but not in all the clips here. feel free to comment on the technique.

You get basically a big measuring tape, put the end on the jump plate, and then record the distance from the plate all the way to where your foot marks are.

How do you record that how far you jump?
