TV item Envirotrek NL 2011

On 2 July, a group of enthusiastic eco-adventurers participated in EnvirotrekNatuurpark, St. Pietersberg. Together the event removed approximately 40 bags of rubbish, waste, plastic bottles, cans etc through an event organised by Dutch non-profit Respect the Mountains and in cooperation with Keen Footwear.

One participant said ' I never expected to collect so much rubbish in the Netherlands in so little time'.

This was the first time that an Envirotrek had taken place in the Netherlands and it was great for the organisation to be on homeground. With the success of this years event Respect the Mountains will return in 2012 to make a positive difference to mountains areas, through this grassroots action event.
