@lilballa8189 there are cheaper and more viable options that going with the stupid expensive HKS race transmission. Liberty and GeForce both have H-pattern and sequential dog box transmissions that cost about $6k and can withstand MUCH power, but of course, like any race transmission, it will need to be rebuilt about once a year, and costs around $2k or so, and thats if the transmission is being operated properly. the rebuild time is significantly shortened with inexperience and much more costly

@lilballa8189 the stock trans dont suck in these cars. they can handle up tp 550-600hp before they show signs of wear and need rebuild or replacement.

for those to say that it sucks, is because their transmissions didnt get the updated 5th gear synchro, which would "scratch" when shifting into 5th. the synchro was made of a poor material, and costs about $300 in parts and labor for replacement

there are parts to rebuild it, and the parts are readily accessible

@rotor13 yeahh well the trans suck in these cars and there are no parts to rebuild it unless you feel like spendin18k on a hks sequential trans and most people spend that into the engine so you have to compinsate for power
