Floral Baskets Laid before Statues of Kim Il Sung

Servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life and school youth and children laid floral baskets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung in various parts of the country on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of his demise.
An endless stream of people visited the statue of the President on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang in boundless reverence and yearning for him.
Seen before the statue was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the KPA.
Placed before the statue were floral baskets in the name of party, armed forces and power organs, social bodies, ministries, national institutions and scientific, educational, cultural and art, public health and media institutions, industrial establishments, schools, etc.
Also placed were floral baskets in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-imperialist National Democratic Front, overseas Koreans and foreigners.
The attendants paid respects in profound reverence for the President, calling back with deep emotion his brilliant revolutionary life and undying exploits.
Servicepersons, working people and school youth and children from across the country visited the statues of the President in their residential areas. They laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the statues and paid homage to him.

15th Anniversary of Demise of Kim Il Sung Commemorated in Brazil and Mexico

The Brazilian Communist Party issued a bulletin on June 30 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Saying that President of the DPRK Kim Il Sung has received gifts, orders, medals and honorary titles from different countries though nearly 15 years have passed since his demise, an article of the bulletin introduced the International Friendship Exhibition House where many gifts presented to him by foreigners, south Koreans and overseas compatriots are displayed.
Those who presented gifts to him are different people but all of these gifts tell the story that the President would be immortal along with humankind, the bulletin noted, adding that there are in the Central Zoo and the Central Botanical Garden a lot of gift plants and animals presented to him by different countries and international organizations after his demise.
The bulletin stressed that the President is immortal as he is always revered by the world people.
A bulletin issued by the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea on June 29 carried a portrait of the smiling President and noted that he enjoyed absolute trust and support of the people all his life.
