"All have..." Those lines are part of the story in the Bible, I agree.
What I am looking for is a way to discern one type of writing from another. The Bible is such an important work, I want to know which parts are literal and which are "allegory", "poetry", etc. peace

@shaunrwilliams Bones of earliest humans show a growth and lifespan of maybe 25 years. There was no time when humans or any other animals lived hundreds of years, Read a book other than your magic one, and maybe you will learn something. Trees still can live thousands of years, but animals never did.

"Christians" (I don't believe there is such a thing), have all sorts of excuses for this. For those who see it is allegory, or anything but literal, I would ask why did Jesus have to die if there was no "original sin".
