does any one know about ceiling fans out there cause I have a newer habor breeze celing fan and when I pull on the fan side pull chain from various speeds it doesn't speed up to high but it stays the same low speed for all three what is my problem to anyone out there ... (FR) and for your noise check the blade arms to see if they are hitting one of the light kit rods. If that doesnt work I don't know what will later days
Is this fan actually making loud popping noises, or is this someone trying to make it look like the fan is noisy? If it's the fan, there is an internal problem with the bearings or maybe even something worse? Or someone is trying to make it look as if the fan was making popping noises but is stomping in an empty space (room)? The thing is, is this an attempt to get attention?
from what i can see, the fan kinda "jumps" a little everytime it makes that noise. somethins banging around something fierce in the motor....maybe a REEALLY messed up bearing?
wtf?? that is unheard of, that sound is horrific, especially on a ceiling fans, but its probably a newer fan maybe a harbor breeze or hampton bay crap,
