Here is my second video. For fun, I created an opening theme for the "Star Trek: Titan" series of books, published under Simon and Schuster's Pocket Books brand and which chronicle the adventures of Captain Riker's new command and crew. I used footage from the PC game "Star Trek: Legacy," as well as a model of the Luna-class ship (of which the USS Titan is a member) modeled by game modder Tip Top. The theme music is from BBC's "The Tudors," and I found it on a fellow YouTube Star Trek fan vid here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WMepxVcx_ds

The crew is comprised of new fiction characters and previous TV ones, so I adjusted the opening credits as such. I used Fraps to record the video game footage (unregistered so far, thus the watermark at the top).

"Star Trek" is owned by CBS. All rights reserved.

Enjoy!

  • I think Laurence Fishborne would be a better voice for Doctor Ree.

  • That's a pretty interesting choice. I can see that.

  • You're pretty good at this.

  • Thanks, this was my second video I'd ever tried. Looking at it now, there's some things I'd change. Time for a remix?

  • Give me the model in something that i can open in 3dmax, and I can do a vid which much better quality that doing inside a game

  • Hey, have at it. I'm not a 3D modeler and I only used what I had at hand.

  • An excellent video with just one critical flaw, you did not add "Based Upon Star Trek Created by Gene Roddenberry".

  • looks like a akira and a soverien fused together they should call it akirerian

  • @Th0ughtf0rce She's too young though, TNG era Trek is set exactly 377 years into the future (Encounter at Farpoint is set in 2364 and was made in 1987, and everything since then is made with that benchmark), making it 2388 now, Vale was born in 2343. Sackhoff is 31, Vale would be 46 by now.

Personally, I think Pava should be Chief of Security, she can get away with being played by a 20 something though, since she's Andorian and not human. But Human characters are generally their actor's ages.

  • looks like a kitbash

  • DOes it have 4 warp nacelles?

  • @paladinartea does all this happen in the titan books??? wow its cool either way I MUST KNOW MORE!! :)

  • So in this show, is Riker going to divorce Deanna Troi, disband from Starfleet and marry another woman, only to later have her executed? After which, he'll then marry 4 other wives, one being a 17yo girl that he also executes?

  • @paladinartea But still, out of all the thousands of ships...

  • Great choice to play Vale. Hilarious choice for Ra-Havreii, don't know Djimon but looked him and and he at least looks like Jaza (from the one pic I saw of that char) Don't know Mark Smith either. I imagined Dr. Ree's voice to be pretty deep and slurring his S's a bit, so I thought Chris Sabat would be good for him
