it wont hurt nuthing if a 5HP can handle 12,000 hp then a 2HP can hadle the same or more but it does suck the gas down

nice, but that "tank" looks a little older than the motor (haha), and i think youre running it WAY TOO FAST straight off the carb like that, youre gonna break something

It's a can of beer, real tank is damaged :/, and it's normal, because the original throttle could get the same well, ehrm, throttle.
