Swine Flu Vaccination

Update: November 13/2009 Chinese state media reports that two people have died after receiving the H1N1 swine flu vaccine.

The risks of the H1N1 vaccination greatly outweigh the benefits... Don't blindly inject yourself or your children without knowing the risks of this vaccination.... Do your research:

I feel the same way about Gardasil as I do about the H1N1 vaccine. So many ads and commercials were pushing parents to get their daughters vaccinated, and a lot of my friends have the vaccine, but I won't ever get it. I just don't like the idea of putting something into my body, that we don't know the long-term effects of! It's a scary thought! I'll just use common sense and be safe myself, without gardasil.

I'm not familiar with Gardasil, but I totally agree with you- it's important to be safe and know the long term effects before you inject something into your body.

Oh my... I never knew this vaccination. Everyone in my class is getting this. Now im not so sure if I want to get this.

people die from normal flu..they just blew the whole thing way outta proportion..im bored of hearing about it..1 of my friends doesnt even believe in swine flu lol

Exactly... a lot of people die from the normal flu and I think that the only reason the swine flu was blown out of proportion was so that Canada could exercise it's license to produce a pandemic vaccine before that license runs out in 2011.

Yep, we didn't get it! Then again it was next to impossible to get it when it first came out. There was allot of confusion & very LONG lineups. People were waiting several hours...so that was the nail in the coffin for me. After that I decided not to get it at all....maybe in the future if it's proven safe.

I had swine flu and let me tell you people are blowing it out of proportion....I got it on a wednesday and was done with it by that sunday..that's 4 days...unless you have some other medical issue I wouldn't worry about getting it and I certainly would NOT get the questionable vaccine

I am not getting the swine flu vaccination. When they first put it out they dont know the side effects it put out on alot of people, and my mother doesnt want me to get it due to that reason.

We didn't get it either. There is Thymerisol in some of it and I don't inject mercury into our children. We've all had it here.

One of my school friends had gotten the Gardasil vaccine (she has a twin sister; they are identical twins) and her body took Guardasil wrong. She was in the hospital for about 4 months.

I am finished with the three step gardasil. unfortunately, my mother decided i needed this vaccine and she had me do it. i was thirteen, so i wan't really interested in medicine and what not. i regret the decision sole-ly.

like the swine vaccine, i don't want to risk the long term health affects.

whether healthy or unhealthy, the excuse for some still seems to be, it's a "choice".. I think if that were to apply to everything, then we could see production getting out of control and lacking consideration as to what's being produced.. Kind of sounds like now, "in my opinion". and continued acceptance on the market. I think as humans we can all take a step back and depict what's healthy and rather unhealthy to us and the environment which sustains us.

It's all about the money.. We get a episode of swine flu cases, a few, many, then it becomes a panick and the FDA, media, etc love this because it means more work for them, more work for the companies that process it, and that means more profit and more families fed, clothed etc.. At the slow expense of our health.. IF you want to talk about swine flu shots, I could go on for eons (if I could be granted live that long) about other expenses to our health, by unhealthy manufacturing.
