We give you the review of one of the biggest movies ever made James Cameron's Avatar. The film is directed by James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.

IN A NUTSHELL REVIEW: You may consider this a bias opinion but this film is flat out revolutionary. The film has effects of the likes we have never seen before, great acting, great directing, and great direction. The film works on all accounts. This is one of the biggest pleasures I have had at the movies. A true landmark piece of cinema.

VERDICT: 4 out of 4 stars

  • A good review, although in my opinion, you showed too much footage of the movie. It kind of spoils it for people who haven't seen it yet.

  • Are you saying there are people who haven't seen it yet? Hahaha. Anyway what do you wan me to do show the same clip over and over again? Dude the movie is 2 hrs and 45 minutes. Plus all the footage that is shown on the review is totally undermined because of youtube quality. This doesn't compare to actually seeing it in the theater.

  • This is going to sound crazy for those who haven't seen the film, but I found the whole thing believable. You actually get used to the blue people and forget they're aliens.

It would be wonderful if they made a book about Na'vi culture and the history of Pandora. Sounds kind of geeky, but I would read it. :D

  • they have its called "Avatar an activist survival guide". Hope this helps you can get it anywhere.

  • Avatar was the best film I have ever seen !!!!!!!

  • This movie was like an Emotional explosion! I still don't know what it did to me, it's sort of overwhelming, and i love it. The whole story just blew my mind, and i want more! I've seen it 4 times and i've seen it in IMAX 3D, it's inspired me to write, and there are no words significant enough to describe how Passionate i am about everything AVATAR.

  • Not my favorite JC film that will allways be T2 but still pretty ok i guess nice to have a female action star agian that doesn't appear stupid like the ones we've seen in recent years .

  • @ocarina2boy All that was shown was in the trailer already.

  • Avatar was the greatest or biggest film of the 2000s.

  • I loved this movie. I dont care if Hurt Locker got best film. This is the best movie of all time. If you haven't seen it by now where have you been? you have to see this film.

  • @powflip There is that book that FanzRevies posted about, but it's actually not very amazing. It's adequate if you want an encyclopedia of the universe presented in the film, but overall it's kind of sloppy.

Misspellings, bad formatting, and a general lack of panache in the writing kind of hamper it. BUT it does have a lot of information to convey.

  • i saw this shit in the chinema... and i think its AWESOME! It would be nice if James made an Avatar 2 xD... or.... nah... maybe not :D

  • it was very emotional and the imagery cannot be compared to any other movie EVER

  • saw it last night n 3d .. this movie is amazing

  • i agree

  • Well, the Oscars finished an hour ago

Avatar came away with 2 awards (Art Direction and Viz Fx)

Hurt Locker got all the big ones.
