True Mr. Sriram...i support ur views...parsis & hindus have many rituals which are surprisngly same...worship of fire of parsis is very same to homa/havan/Yagnas is hindus , againg navjot is also similar to yagopavit /janeo in hindus.......it seems that aryas & old parsis have smae ancestors......

Hey british1216, better have decency in your words. I am a professor in a college.
The way u treat people with respect, is the way u will be respected.
Before talking about all of the Zartoshti, it is the Hindus and the Parsis who are the real community rather than all those who got converted. Those who got converted are not the real Zartoshti. Let us have a challenge on that.
One single test ---a DNA test is enough to prove this and now i am currently in this process.

There is, moreover, a list of Aryan gods in a treaty concluded about 1380 BC between the Hittite emperor and the king of Mitanni. The list includes Mitra and Varuna, Indra, and the two Nasatyas. All of these gods also are found in the Vedas, but only the first one in the Avesta, except that Indra and Nañhaithya appear in the Avesta as demons; Varuna may have survived under another name.

he religion of the latter has been reconstructed by means of common elements contained in the sacred books of Iran and India: mainly the Avesta and the Vedas. Both collections exhibit the same kind of polytheism, with many of the same gods, notably the Indian Mitra (the Iranian Mithra), the cult of fire, sacrifice by means of a sacred liquor (soma in India, in Iran haoma), and other parallels.

The religion of Iran before the time of Zoroaster is not directly accessible, for there are no reliable sources more ancient than the prophet himself. It has to be studied indirectly on the basis of later documents and by a comparative approach. The language of Iran is closely akin to that of northern India, and hence the people of the two lands probably had common ancestors--the Indo-Iranians, or Aryans.

First of all decency is best appreciated
Also try to understand that all the words that are used in Zarathosthi are Sanskrit words and nothing as that of your own.
The base level language is Sanskrit and this is the truth.

We Zartoshti are NO hindus. We worship in the one true god, not several thousand. Don't think that the Parsi's are the only Zartoshti. We Iranian Zartoshti are the original followers of the religion and continue to keep our own culture, tradition, and religion, which came much before hinduism.
Long live all Zoroastrian!

The name MITHRA in Zaratoshti is mentioned in the sanskrit vedic texts.
This is one proof, try to learn that.
