Ive been snowboarding for bout 2 years now and i still fall getting off sometimes.

@VLS1998t I live in Texas so I won't be doing anything in the snow very soon :) I've friends who do both and they all unanimously agree that skiing is much easier to learn. Looks a lot easier for sure. Waterski vs wakeboarding is much easier too.

@27honda Since you've never done either, that explains why you made that noob comment. Most snowboarders don't strap both feet in until they're about to go down the hill, because it's easier to walk. Also, skiing is actually really hard to learn, and since you've never done either, it's quite obviously you have no idea what you're saying. I think you should learn your facts before making a dumbass comment like that. And by learn your facts, I mean try them.

I've never even snowboarded or skied but it's very obvious every one of those boarders were complete noobs. Most of them weren't even strapped in sufficiently. Sort of unfair to use them as an example of why snowboarders fall out of the lifts. Not so much, "they were designed for skis" as "those boarders are just learning." Also it's pretty obvious skiing is much easier to pick up, hence why the noobs don't fall.
