Sweet a stock auto S197. So we have a 97 mph car getting beat by a modded, pullied, 99 mph GTP. lol. My stone stock '92 Mustang convertible with only pulleys and exhaust kept up with a friend's intake/exhaust '08 GT. You guys should find some faster cars.

@gtdrummerdude 13.8 @ 98 mph vs. 13.7 @ 101 mph. Yeah not the fastest things on the street. But ''fast'' is relative. Hell my Formula is slow compared to the shit around here now days. Oh well. Speed is money. And I have little.. :o

@KoRn728 Let me guess.You got that number off the door jamb sticker right? That's the GVWR weight i.e. the GM maximum recommended weight including car passengers and cargo including fuel and other fluids. Curb weight is around 3400lbs. Thank you for thanking me for correcting you....

These 3800 series engines are nothing until you reprogram the transmissions down shift points.. most these cars if you race them at 40 mph.. you will lose.. Race from a stop that mustang would win.. Or race one at around 50 or so the 3800 will lose again.

@herrdrummer1212 Well my heavy '92 convertible 5.0 went 14.05 on street tires bone stock besides pulleys and exhaust, and my friend's '04 GT with just a CAI and cat-back exhaust went 14.09. My car has all the factory equipment in it- spare tire and jack etc. His car is the same way, he even had the baby seat in his. The same night there was a loud modded comp G running High 14s @ 95 mph, and the last bone stock GTP I saw here had a CAI and was running 15.1 @ 93.
