Thanks for the ride . Lived in and around Chicago my whole life and never took the river tour. Took the night skyline fairy ride a few times . Really nice video. Beautiful city : )

@MrJghm We actually missed them by a few days. We left on (I believe the 6th or 7th of July (2010)) and Micheal Bay started tearing up Wacker Drive a few days later. I had no idea they were going to film there. I'm still a bit upset that I missed the filming.

Very interesting video! Do you pay something to access the river, and where do you get the boats?

@890slay If you own your own boat (which I don't) you can cruise up and down the river all you want. No extra charge beyond what you would normally pay for owning a boat.
I paid for the river tour while on vacation ($25). The tour last for about an hour.
There are other boat tours as well: A Lake Michigan tour and A sunset tour that last about an hour. The sunset tour was pretty relaxing. Just a tour of the lake with some Sinatra songs being played. Good photos, but made for dull video.
