The local railroad around where i live has one of these bad boys. They have nice horns on them, good loco also.

71 was our best puller. CF 7's were excellent switchers. The LNG's (on the other hand) offer excellent visibility, but load rather slowly and-back in the day- would shut down without warning in the dead of summer.

They switch industries in the cities of Vernon, Maywood, Bell, and Commerce. Oh yea... The Cf7's are still parked, resting, on the LAJ house tracks. Not fenced up or locked or anything like that. I should know. I work there.
Do some of these LAJ engines have security bars on the cab's windows?
