the whinning sound your hearing is caused by a bad ground, just find the bad ground connection, don't band-aid your car audio. if you can't locate the bad ground take it to a car audio shop.

My stereo system just started doing this like on Saturday & I had Subs hooked up for over 6yrs now WTH. Sounds like I have a Supercharged SUV though lol

that works... also you can just strip a piece of wire, wrap it around the metal of the rca cable/jack then insert it far enough so that it makes contact to the back of the head uni(which is metal)
