The whole LoTR trilogy and The Hobbit are just epicly made by tolkein and so beautifully honoured by Jackson that everyone loves this. I really hope that he does go off and make Halo. If he can show the same amount of passion and compassion for the original content like he's done with Tolkein. The Halo movie would be insanely good.

The Hobbit and LotR are so old, but still SO fantastic. The best books ever written. And they had a so beautiful update those last 10 years with the movies... No book (nor movie) is even close! The two: Tolkien and Peter Jackson!

Peter Jackson is what George Lucas ought to be. Jackson still works on location, where Lucas is just only greenscreen. Plus Jackson is not a total douchebag sellout.

@piemellc When? At the time of LotR? At the beginning of his adventure (in the books,a t least), yes, he is 33. But you must also remember that hobbits are slightly longer lived than humans, so. Unless you are speaking of somethign else entirely!
