Culvert Replacement

This is a video of our roads crew replacing an obsolete metal culvert with a reinforced concrete culvert on Samples Rd in western Pulaski County. The new culvert can also handle about twice the amount of water flow as the old one.

In this short clip you can see a trackhoe back-filling sb2 gravel around the already installed concrete pipe. Also there is a worker operating a small roller to compact the new back-filled gravel. The last part of the video shows the trackhoe operator placing large stones along a ditch to reduce erosion and road base scour.
