Never prepare food where you sleep ... Cook your food 200 meters down stream. Have one small fire for cooking .. Have a separate fire for warmth. You don't want a visitor .

lmao@ les gives us a stronger sense of what it means to survive on our own...but...but..........lol the place where he stays is mapped out..because of safety....the classic example is the colorado rockies......so tough yet so easy...surviving is so different when you are not educated like he is...

One of the outstanding things I love about Les's filming techniques is the shots showing him walking/boating from far off and knowing that he has to come back to retrieve the camera.
