  • here is what ive noticed about denis and maria.. if you watch closely on their samba rolls. they step on a different count than their partner. in those cases, judges will usually place them lower. but nonetheless they are very good.

  • @therejected1

They are on the same count but Maria takes the step a bit earlier. You're not meant to step on the same time, that would defeat the purpose of lead and follow. If you want to be nitpicky then yes, Dennis' foot should place on the floor first.

  • @AceyBlade In Samba rolls, these rules do not apply. They must step on the same count in order to keep the correct rotation and speed. The girl must literally know the man's lead and movements "telepathically"

  • i think Denis and Maria have the best Samba Rolls

  • No. The results were just as they should've been. Franco and Oksana dominated this competition from the beginning into the end. The only championships I could disagree is the 2002 one and 2003 (but that's when Riccardo and Joanne should've won).

  • I love those shadow reverse samba rolls...you know which one!

  • @MasterDon08 That's Karen Hardy

  • @Honoluly THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!

  • @therejected1 I think we need to realise that this isn't social dancing. It's choreographed. The judges expect them to work for months before showing up on the floor. So stepping on different counts won't matter.
