I just found and played this song in honor of my cousin Kenny from Farmingdale NY who just died. He was 5, I was 11. He was the cutest little blond boy, such an angelic face. He's in a better place.

this is my favorite record of my childhood... I won this 45 from a record station in Amarillo Texas for Ellory Queen Mystery Questions before school on the radio in the mornings... I won a box of 45s. This record was on top... my absolute favorite... I never could remember who sang it... NOW I do... Larry Hall... OMGoodness...how great. 1965 I got this.. Sandy is my name of course....

This song ranks as one of the all time classics . Anyone who was a teenager in the late 50's and early 60's cannot listen to "Sandy" without thinking back to some fond memory from that time period. Thanks for posting this.
