No mistake about her on Oprah. She was on there with Susan Lucci and both were complaing about how the fans bother them. Barbara said somthing like `` We were on our house Boat and the fans kept yelling for me to come out and I did not have make-up on or anything and they would not let up``. Well she would kill for fans like that now..lol

It's a shame Barbara Mandrell's version never caught on. This song should've been a "Christmas classic" but instead it's become a "lost treasure".

Such a beautiful song. Barbara Mandrell's version is a natural delivery, no flying up and down the scale. I can feel the meaning of the lyrics as she absolutely controls her powerful voice without even trying. I wish there was a video of her singing. I love Streisand but Mandrells got this one hands down.
