Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin, surly Lord Macintosh and cantankerous Lord Dingwall. Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late.

I would also say mothers understand their sons better than the fathers. I know that is probably rich coming from one who will probably be a father to a son one day, hopefully, but that is why I will need my future wife's help.

Merida is definitely a daddy's girl, and she gets a lot of her behavior from him, along with her red hair. I'm sure he's very proud of her for her skills in archery and swordplay. After all, like father, like daughter. :)

well, not to be a downer, but i actually don't have a good relationship with my dad. he has autism, so most of the time he's in his own little world. i've tried all my life to get close to him, but he just doesn't want to talk to me or be around me. the worst part is that my little brother has autism too, and they're like 2 peas in a pod. they're always talking and in this secret world that the two of them share. it's a world i'll never get to be a part of.
