Many of these clips are new and not from any video I've already uploaded, and a few others you may recognize. But one way or another, I have every automated side loader from the Escondido yard that's painted in EDI colors in this video! This is basically the entire fleet that has served Escondido residential trash and recycling since the year 2000.

One thing you'll notice in this video is that there are a number of trucks that 'evolved' in EDI's fleet. I tried to show that for a few of them (especially for #208 and 210) by including a clip of the truck before being repainted or upgraded, and then another of it in its newer state. You'll see what I mean.

Other than that, there's a bit more video of #60 than the rest of the trucks.....just haven't filmed much of that truck lately and it used to be my recycling truck for about 9 years, so I thought it fitting to include some more.

A double Thank You to those of you who are considerate/willing enough to read my video descriptions :D God at least has a place for you in heaven......lololol jk

  • It was great to see all their ASL trucks in one video. Especially truck 60. One of the first EDI trucks on YT that I watched for hours before I even joined YT. Fantastic post! Makes me wanna make a vid or two like this with Rainbow and Newport. But IMO it's best that I don't. I'd feel bad for ripping this vid off lol :P

  • @RainbowDisposal haha I wouldn't mind :) Are they very different in sound/looks? I know for EDI every truck has its own personality and they really are all different, but one wouldn't expect that since they seem very similar at first glance...

What'd you think of #60's sound? Was that just me or did it sound different (driving off)? Feel free to compare it to some of the hours' worth of video you used to watch :D

  • @garbagekid1 What #60 with the arm going all trippy yea that's been posted before

  • @JaccobDalton Well that didn't help lol

Ohhh I do see what you mean, it's got the old style arm! Dang I never saw that before. Gotta be the only truck like that because it doesn't have the design with the whole plate covering the front of that vertical section of the arm, it's the old design that looks even narrower. Cool thanks for pointing that out!

  • @Trashman242 oh :x and that was in one of your other vids too wasnt it sorry dude sometimes im as sharp as a bowling ball..

  • @Trashman242 The shape/design.

  • @garbageboy2009 No it is, just haven't filmed it since it was repainted.

  • @garbagekid1 True true lol

  • @garbagekid1 Yeah the only trucks in between 61 and 207 are three of the four CWS MSLs, and their three rolloffs.

Good God I hope you're kidding...I guess what half the people who watched this vid failed to infer, was that 4:10 it was malfunctioning too...

The BP that flipped was #215, and it was completely repaired like a month after the accident and I saw it once or twice on the road soon after that, good as new.

Well the thing is that #15 is (I think) operated semi-auto sooo..

  • @r6man2 I believe it used to be a bulky item truck of some sort (and still probably is), but they had Bridgeport manufacture a semi-auto arm with grippers for it. Thank you for the words~
