Seriously, I had mixed feelings when I finally got this far... From (ADAMANTIUM) rage to sadness, and heart-warming feelings too...

Hmmm, I wonder if "Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life" already got translated, because I'd really like to see more of the Tomoya and Tomoyo couple (And besides, I would have material for a future longplay, heh).

I started watching Clannad as the anime but I really fell in love with the series after the 24th episode of the 1st season. It was practically this part of Tomoyo's route and.. it was awesome.

A long time has passed since I watched the anime and I stumbled upon your playthrough of the VN and I'm glad I found it. Thanks for making this great story available to us!

@chronoes15 Damn, I did know that CLANNAD had a quite strong fanbase, but when I started doing this longplay, I had no idea of how strong it was, heh...

But it's not hard to figure out, since the guys at Key are really good at writing novels, and besides, since the anime adaptations have to hack and slash some stuff out it's not surprising that so many people would look up for the VN.

@LucasHidemiKomori I did try the Clannad VN first aswell but I ended up with one of the bad ends (while trying to get along with Tomoyo), waking up one morning in a cold, cold world or something like that. I thought the game had bugged out when it returned me to the main menu. I read about it and realised that some VNs like Clannad are more complicated than just choosing options in dialogues.

Nevertheless, I picked up Katawa Shoujo recently and I was impressed with it.

@chronoes15 Pretty much true. "True Love" is probably the hardest one that I ever played, because you not only have to pick the correct choices, but you also need to build up your stats in order to impress some of the girls in the game (Remi, Miyuki, Mayumi, Chiemi and Anze)...

The most straightforward that I played is To Heart 2, though there's still some rookie traps: In order to get Manaka, you have to go with Yuma a few times on the map screen, if I'm not mistaken...

@LoveBloodTear It's a PC game, but some time after it's release it was ported to the PS2, PSP, PS3. A port for the Xbox 360 was released only in Japan, if I'm not mistaken...

@LucasHidemiKomori Yeah, I could feel I was missing out on a lot when that certain episode was shown with the sudden interest in Tomoyo, as if Tomoya and had been together a long time, despite the anime showing interactions with Nagisa.

While I took a liking to Kyou during the anime, it completely changed with the end of that season.

Key has made an excellent work. While I knew VNs existed, I was not interested in them until I read about Clannad and its' origin.

Also, in relation to her story, it's kind of funny how people think of Tomoyo as a role model for other students. That she shouldn't be in love with the one she has chosen by herself. It's strange to realise that today's society thinks that love has become a burden for outstanding people and those who aim high should not indulge in something so.. primitive.

That is why I feel sad for Tomoyo but in the end, it was great.

I haven't gone into After Story after but, thus far, Tomoyo>Kyou/Ryou>Fuuko

My personal faves are the ones where Tomoya hooks up with people because I just feel like he grows up the most in those.

I haven't finished the After Story chapter, but some segments (Spoiler) such as Nagisa's graduation, or when Tomoya realizes he was being negligent to his own daughter Ushio, are also my favorites.

@MandalorianKnight That means you got one of the bad endings of the game.

In other words, playing the laser game with Sunohara will give you a bad ending. And I'm pretty sure this option only appears on Kappei's route...

I have this happen weird ending EVERYTIME I play and try to play on this route, right after I play the laser game with Sunohara, its goes to the next day, then its says I'm bored, I go back to my house and sleep, than the Ilusionary World pops up and says a white world with snow and all that then it takes me back to the normal screen can you please help me with this?
