Frozen at Flinders Street Station - "Be Still"

Melbourne's take on the Freeze @ Grand Central Station.

For five minutes, over 1000 people froze into place at exactly 7:00pm. The bustle of Flinders was reduced to a quiet hum. The rush of the time-poor was no more.

The interspersed agents were motionless. Some were stuck in an embrace, others were frozen in thought, and a few held seemingly impossible poses.

this reminds me of a similar stunt done in new yorks grand central station........... except that one seemed to serve and amaze the general public as an artistic stunt - this seems to serve the people participating in it

I doubt it was a prank,

probably more of an artistic show?

and you have to consider station size and amount of people before saying "omg dey're just squeezed together and no natural looking!!1"

And they're probably cheering because they all shared 5 minutes with a bunch of complete strangers, something the world has forgotten, seeing it's not longe ropen to meeting new people, and trusting people, etc, they'd be cheering everyone on for such a good job
