Lost and Found Season 2 Episode 17

Miley's P.O.V.

I turned to Denise after they felt. "So you just heard pretty much what went on in my life ever since my mother died."
She placed her hand over her mouth. "Rae, dear, I didn't know, I'm so sorry."
"For what? It's not your fault."
She nodded. "I know, but that doesn't mean I can't feel bad or sorry for you, especially through everything we have gone through."
"Yeah, but you shouldn't feel bad or sorry for me. Stuff happens, and sometimes we have no control over it."
She sighed. "I'm going to go get some food from the cafeteria, do you want anything?"
"No, I'm fine, but thanks anyways."
She smiled and patted my knee as she got up and left the room. I looked over to my left and saw the digital clock read 12:15. I smiled and decided to call Joe, he was at lunch right now.
"Hello?"
"Hello there Joseph."
He chuckled. "You know if you call me Joseph, I'm gonna have to call you Mi-"
"Don't you ever dare."
He laughed. "That's what I thought."
I smiled and shook my head. "So how's lunch?"
"Lunch's lunch. But the bigger question is, how are you?"
"I'm fine, just waiting for these next two hours to pass by."
"Then I get to see you after school."
I sighed. "Not exactly, I was planning on hanging out with Zac and running some errands with him, then go to your house, since I was gonna go over there for dinner and family movie/game night."
"Alright, that's okay. As long as I get to see you today."
I smiled.
"JOE! WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO ON THE PHONE?! YOU'RE 'LADY FRIEND?!" I heard someone yell at Joe.
I shook my head and giggled. "Who was that?"
"No one, just my good for nothing little brother."
I giggled again.
"He's just jealous he has no one as beautiful as you to talk to right now."
I blushed. "Joe...." I whined.
He laughed. "Awwh, did that make someone blush?"
I smiled. "Just a little."
"Well, you're cute when you blush, so blush up a storm honey, I don't mind."
I blushed even more. "Oh, you don't have to worry about me blushing up a storm alright."
He chuckled. "Joey, is that that Miley girl who got into a fight with Taylor yesterday that you're talking to on the phone?" I heard some girl ask him. "Her name is Rae, Selena, not Miley, Rae. And yes, I am talking to her." I heard her giggle. "It seems like Joseph here might have done more than befriended her." I heard people laughing. "Shut it David. You're lucky enough to have Selena here go out with you." Everyone laughed.
"So I take it that you'll just go back to having lunch with your friends and whatnot and I'll let you be and see you later?"
"No! I'm sorry; it was just that I was getting distracted by my friends."
I giggled. "It's okay, go back to lunch now. You need to eat, I'll see you soon."
He sighed. "Okay. See you soon?"
I smiled. "See you soon."
And I hung up the phone just as Denise was walking into the room.
"Who was that you were talking to on the phone?"
"No one, just Joe."
She smiled. "Ahh, young love."
"Denise!"
She laughed. "I'm sorry."

Soon it was 2:15 and doctor and nurse came in to check up on me.
"So how are we feeling today Ms. Rae?"
I smiled. "Good enough to go home."
He chuckled. "Yes, I can see that, but care to be a little more specific?"
I smiled. "Well, I'm still in pain, but not excruciating pain, and I'm feeling tenderness and soreness, but other than, I'm fine."
"Alright, sounds good to me. Remember what I told you about that bandage now."
I nodded. "I know, change once in the morning, and once at night, every day and come back in 4 weeks."
He smiled. "And I'll be leaving the prescription for the pain killers with you, and take it easy there. Not only do you have bad ribs, but you have a broken ankle, and stitched up forehead."
I nodded again. "I know, I'll try not to work too hard or anything, and I'll stay away from the balls in gym class and stay on the benches instead."
He smiled. "Good, someone's a fast learner. Try to remember what I told you and don't stress over anything. Stress will just make it worse on yourself."
I smiled and nodded as he left; I turned over to Denise.
"You ready to go home."
I smiled. "Oh yeah." And to see Joe later, I thought.
