@struppinator Hm I dont know I am considering now buying this cam, but I heard some negative arguments against this cam, I was looking at the nikon coolpix p500 too which is much cheaper for 270 Eur. but cant decide which is the better cam ^^ :(

@mikigm89 P500 is cheaper but not as good picture quality as the canon,,, but still good for the price .. see if you can buy a used sx30, or a new one on special if they are still clearing them.... it has the same lens, not as hi res HD video but has 720HD which is all you need. I have the sx30 and i wouldn't upgrade to the sx40.
