Doug Christie "King of Heart and Hustle"

Doug Christie was the true King of heart, hustle, defense and dunks.

He brought a passion for the game every time he stepped on the court. Personally, he was one of my favorite players when he did play for the Kings. He excited fans with his vicious dunks, often sparked by his great steals on the other side of the court. He was an adept passer, and would find open shooters like Mike Bibby and Peja Stojakovic, or dish it off to the post players like Vlade Divac and Chris Webber for layups and jams.

Opposing teams failed to remember his three-point shooting ability, and he made them pay many a time for leaving him wide open from behind the arc.
I hope you all enjoy watching this mix as much as I did watching Doug play in Sacramento.

That quick clip at 1:40 against the Vancouver Grizzlies, I don't believe that was it, but if it was there next to last game of the season that year, that was my first game. I actually am lucky enough to have a copy of that game completely, and I know back then they didn't broadcast all 82 games, but I have the Grizzlies broadcasting feed on this DVD, so that's why I think that. Nontheless a great play as they all are. Man did I love this TEAM.
