Here are some samples from some of his laughs and two songs, The Sleigh and Largo al Factotum.
The first and second laughs are Mel Blanc's originals.
An unidentified singer performs Woody's singing voice.

  • what is the name of the chapter of the second song????

  • "The Barber of Seville". You can check on related videos.

  • Actually now that I think about it-the 1957 Woodpecker....there's no way Grace Stafford's voice was that deep in real life-I think hers might've actually been natural..

  • Yes, you're right. I think I pitched down too much... but I doubt her voice was natural. They sped up the voice, like the previous ones

  • WOAH?! The real voices! How'd you find/do them?!

  • I just used some program to transpose the voices to the "correct" pitch

  • cute =)

  • OK, I apologize for my ignorance, but I thought that 1940 was before color television. Was it restored to color, or are the animations from a later series in around the 70s?

  • @awayofgreen12 I always figured that it was just the crazy nature of WW himself. Either way, its hilarious!

  • wow

  • @kozmon0t Fuck ME? No thanks.

Comparing Mel Blanc to Candi Milo is like comparing Charlie Chaplin to Michael Bay.

  • @DonaldvsSephy I'd ask why, but I'd rather just say fuck you.

  • @kozmon0t That's disgusting.

  • I thought mel blanc's voice was unaltered. I guess he wasn't so great after all. Altered, it's almost as good a cartoon voice as Candi Milo's. Unaltered, it's nothing.

    Not even Casey Kasem level.

  • But some data is wrong! woody started it in 1940, but the first time he changed was in early 1943, and the final design was given to him overseas 1951 and beyond! except for... he changed eyes between 1955-1960 XD

  • Who would win in a fight bugs bunny or woody woodpecker?
