Yuzo Koshiro composed the original Master System and Game Gear versions of this song in 1991. This version is a rendition produced with the NES's Konami VRC6 expansion chip.
-
That's because Janet Jackson's best-selling "Together Again" (1997) sampled Yuzo Koshiro's 8-bit Sonic theme "Bridge Zone" (1991).
-
The NES alone isn't able to produce sounds like this, but it can with the Konami VRC6 expansion chip which was made specifically for later Konami cartridges like Castlevania III (1989).

IT'S MASTER SYS...wait. It's just the Master System version made to sound as if it were on NES? Well, I like it.
