The Homosexual

an edited educational video clip from early 60s America.
explaining to boys about homosexuals.

I made this video as a part of an exercise and discussion of the "beat generation" as I came across so called educational films, trying to instill fear in young boys and girls.
those films probably ended up accomplishing the opposite in ceding the ground for the sexual revolution of the 60s.

Well, the only thing I learned from watching this is that fear and paranoia can work wonders when you're trying to convince ignorant people to hate their neighbors. If this kind of garbage can effectively persuade people to assume that gay men are pedophiles who rape and murder young men, who's to say that the same strategy couldn't be used to convince the masses that ethnic, racial, or religious groups are also inherently "dangerous"?

What? That's already happened? I guess we never learn...
