  • Eric, can You show us how to make our own custom Alpha transitions?

  • Pretty Nice! I'm going to make the upgrade from iMovie to DCP this month. I am tired of iMovies limitations. I mean it's ok until you actually want to make some detailed stuff.

I wish they haven't dumped the iMovie '06 (HD) Style, I loved that much more.

  • waaaap ^^

  • @lou773 for the real-time audio tracks, increase the speed of your system and/or disk drives and/or network conneciton.

How can I turn off "unlimited RT"?

    Lower my compression data rate?

Lower my preference for real-time audio tracks?

  • I found the alpha transitions and downloaded them at:

    support.apple.com/downloads/Alpha_Transitions

add the prefix stuff that need to go with all web addresses.

I followed you directions and everything worked until I tried to play it in the timeline. THe playhead kept stopping at the being of my transition, giving me this message: Warning Dropped Frames. It said that I should try: Turning of "Unlimited RT", lower my compression data rate, closing open sequences, lower preferences,

  • @wassupyall12 I found it on the web. Just google around and you'll find it. Here it is.

  • Really cool intro.

  • Aypul

  • It looks like these are no longer on Apples site :(

  • Is it hard to use Final Cut?

  • Y YO SACANDOME UN HUEVO MIRANDO COMO SE METEN LAS DICHOSAS TRANSICIONES... MM.!

  • @MediaV3 H.264 technically isn't a "file format", though a lot of people say it is. H.264 (also known as AVC or MPEG4 part 10) is a lossy video compression "standard" for which its official container file format is MP4. Encoders are built (x264 command line is the best) and even though the encoders are updated, the H.264 compliant decoder doesn't have to be, since it already supports all the features of the standard. Just thought I'd add in a few details.
