Only just found him a few nights ago on last.fm. Ordered "Childish Things" right away, can't wait for it to arrive so I can promote the McMurtry philosophy in the UK. Wow!

This man is one of the best songwriters that has ever been, and he is a guitar pickin' genius, and if you ever see him live in a small venue you'll know I'm telling the truth.

Discovered him last summer and listened to him almost continually for about 3 months ... he's a genius from my perspective ... I don't know anyone who can write like him ... Sam Baker comes to mind, but in a different way ... simply knocks me out ...
