@ecp26 When she sent him her letters, he could find them because they were already there - they had been put there years before he ever bought the desk. If he put his letters in the desk, they would be found years in the future, not in the past. He needed to mail them at a post office that existed in Elizabeth's time.

I loved it :))))) Another romantic movie about a letter passing the time " the lake house " with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock ....very romantic and great actors

you can see throughout the movie, Deborah and Scott are not compatible and/or meant for each other lol, that light up like a Christmas tree love is not there. I love the ending it sent chills

this scene on the stairs is my favorite scene in this movie. I also like time some

time travel movies- Tme after Time, The original Time Machine, Somewhere In time.

I'm a writer hopefully sometime I will try to also write a time travel story- If it's God's

will. until then I'll just lean back and enjoy what's here.
