i went here when i was 3 and we were meaning to go skiing but the snow melted and so the falls were pretty powerful that day and even though i was 3 i still remember it well

The Waikato River was clearly running on reduced flow when this happened, as you can see where the water line has reached on the rocks.

im from holland and 2 years ago i was on a world trip to new zealand. i visit the huka falls also and i never though that people were goinig to do THIS on that magic, peacefull place. The water was so rough. Wauw, amazing job. exiting to look at.
