Today Gary passed away, I had the previlege to see him play several times for the last 24 years...a sad, sad day... Rest in peace Gary, your music will live on forever!

I will play a song for all the days you are away, I will look for you to pass this way, and until the day we meet again my heart will be filled with sorrow. RIP Mr. Moore

How I missed those days when Gary was hard rocking. Brilliant! Best guitar player to grace this planet.

Feckin' terriffic !! Talented beyond reproach and until his final day, never waned like a lot of his contemporaries such as Brian Robertson who has all but lost his style and ability. Gary will always be remembered as one of the true legends of blues and rock guitar. Quite possible that 'Lizzy were at their peak around '79 with Gary on board.

Wonderful to see that at the time of his death he had reached true mastery of the guitar. Absolutely fantastic.

His playing was good indeed but believe me, I've seen him play in the '80s, that was something else..especially during the "After The War" tour..

That's the intro track from the "After The War" album, called "Dunluce".
