@MrTiquandadon - What you need to pay attention to is the word 'crucifixion' which is a VERY specific Roman method of punishing prisoners to death. They had refined this type of punishment to an art and the 'Cross' beam hewn tree could be mass produced and re-used. This is the well documented tree of death - the death of the cross - upon which Jesus Christ the Son of God hung and bled and died in disgrace to bear the penalty of our sin.
