@Hapseleg I was surprised to see no mention of the "Summer Magic" cards myself. There's a number of them that were even more sought after than Alpha/Beta versions. Maybe they just don't have a solid foundation of stores to find prices on them, as they are still incredibly rare to see (I personally have only had the privilege of seeing a handful of the rarer "error" cards). Last I checked though, a few could have reached near the same value of some of these cards.

@jynxycats While the Alpha/Beta will always be worth more, saying a deckset of duals from Revised selling regularly for $300-400 on eBay now isn't really "worth beans". Some cards still have incredible value from being popular in current tournament play, Power and Alpha/Beta cards have nearly all value from rarity (and marginal amounts from play value, since many prefer black borders, myself included). Duals were pretty much the only ones to keep that kind of value though, I'll admit.

@Kritsos23 Yes, very much so. The majority of the high value cards from the Alpha set were either 1) no longer Gem Mint 10, or NM 9 quality grading due to various damage and loss (played, theft, fires, etc), and Alpha was a short print set (Beta lasted longer, and was far more common in a per-card printing number, Unlimited/3rd even more so & white bordered). As you can see in the video, some of these only have a handful left at that quality, mostly due to them all being popular.

@GarrettedeanTV White borders are often considered the reprinted (otherwise known as post-Unlimited/3rd edition), "core" sets. However, some foreign countries had their "first" printings in white border, because it was past our "Revised" and "4th Edition" printings. I don't know which countries off the top of my head, but I do know "first editions" of French, Italian, Japanese, German, English, and I believe Chinese (either S or T) were all black border versions. Rarity depends.

@GarrettedeanTV They are actually lower quality than blackborder, although, I have a Volcanic Island dual land, and it's white, so it really depends on the edition.
