The hyaenas moved den about a week ago. This is a new den we didn't know about and as can be seen by all the grass growing on it, it hasn't been used for some time. All the cubs are there and seemingly a little nervous as they get used to their new home.

  • Hello

The first is the American spelling; the second is the British spelling.

By the by, 'hyena' is from a German word meaning bristles (owing to the 'bristles' on the back of the animal.)

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

  • Hyena or hyaena? Spelling please!
