@SkunkBud87 I dont have to look him up,I know who he is, and He has never been a "psycho" around me. Actually he has always been calm, cool and collective. And he is very knowledgeable in Michigan firearm Laws. Not sure what your "point" is... you come on here ranting about things you know very little about, and then call the guy in the video names.. You lack credability now ..good day sir..Im done with you,go troll somewhere else please.
-
@detroitbiker You're totally missing my point dumbass. Do you know that Scott Webb (the guy giving the cop a hard time) is a psycho? Look him up on youtube
-
@SkunkBud87 Look, you obviously don't know to much about Michigan firearm laws.Im not saying this as a dig,Just telling ya you might want to look them up first before debating them. The Cops had no right to tell us not to be there with a firearm PERIOD.It's not Disorderly conduct. In fact, if we would have just stood there and refused to leave and said nothing, And they arrested us, We would have had a Civil Law suit against them and got PAID big time. We actually were nice and explained it to them
-
@SkunkBud87 Once again, IT IS ILLEGAL FOR A LOCAL CITY OR COUNTY TO ENACT FIREARM LAWS OR ORDINANCES THAT SUPERSEAD STATE LAW.(Michagan Preemption law MCL 123.1102)
-
@SkunkBud87 maybe you didnt watch the video.. The deputy got in our face.
We "flexed" OUR RIGHTS. And in the end,The sheriff's deputies learned something that day. We were right and the sign came down.
-
@SkunkBud87 Under the Michigan Premtion law MCL# 123.1102 they cannot restrict our rights. The only place we cannot carry is in the secure areas, like where the prisoners are etc..,but the lobby area they cannot tell us to leave.
-
@detroitbiker Do you realize that he is just agonizing the cops? That's why it is wrong. And the fact that he is being a dick to the cops when they are telling him not to bring in a weapon. It's called disorderly conduct.
-
@SkunkBud87 your wrong about the police station,it's NOT a private business,it;s a public building paid for with public TAX funds and a city or county cannot restrict or enact firearm laws that supersede State law. (second part you are correct)In a privately owned restaurant , the owner can set any rules he wants regarding firearms. If we are asked to leave your restaurant and refuse ,we would be trespassing and could be ticketed by police for it.
-
@detroitbiker It's not illegal for police to set rules in there departments. If they say no guns are allowed, no guns are allowed. If you walked in somebody's house and they asked you not to bring your gun but you do it anyway, then you are just stirring up trouble.
-
@jesus20248 No they don't, they hate it when assholes like Scott Webb get in their face and flex muscle with their guns.
Cop: "Alright - let me see your driver's license"
Citizen: "No thank you"
That's the best thing I've heard all day - thanks for standing up for our rights!!!

The best way to fight is with information.
I LOVE the way the guy both cites the actual law, stays calm, and very evenly says "No thank you" when asked for his ID.
This is exactly what should be done when dealing with police.
