@calimar28 - have you checked out the 'Optimum Population Trust' ?
-
1965 levels = 250,000 a year immigration. And no "refugees". Anchor baby law fixed, and a requirement that visitors from Europe have a VISA! Also, Student visa's overall reduced to 200,000 a year (600,000 now). Also, fix the borders and no amnisty!
Guest workers...well, we dont need guest workers anymore. Machines pick the crops for a little more. Construction wants cheap labor that undercuts our workers.
Now, you want a public option? You got it. A "strong" public option at that.
-
@shumble32 Yes I would...but I mean reduced. I dont mean 2,000 a year less and not addressing Visa overstays and refugees, and anchor babies. I mean really reduced in a serious way.
-
@calimar28 - so you would be prepared to discuss national healthcare if immigration was reduced?
-
@calimar28 - Whatever you say, the EU's got equivalent quality yet cheaper private health systems and better public health systems.
PS. you don't need to be anyone's slaves.
-
@calimar28 - We used to be able to afford the government schemes (like you did) but then came the great bank crisis and bail out (thanks America). The biggest 'government scheme' of all. - thanks president Bush!
-
@shumble32 The EU is broke as a result of your goverment schemes. Take away Germany, and the EU collapses.
-
@shumble32 Because the alternitive is worse...to Americans. Goverment run anything leads to high rates, which is why the rates are so high now! Medical rates wernt like this in the 1940's, before govt got involved. Same with education...cheap in the 50's and everyone was learning. Then in the 60's we got govt grants, govt loans, etc - and immediatly college costs skyrocket.
-
@shumble32 Well at least your willing to admit it is a problem...the first liberal I have heard admit that! No, I dont think immigration is the cause of all of our problems, but I am dumbstruck that liberals never bring it up and dont think it is a problem at all. How can you even discuss national healthcare until immigration is first reduced? I mean seriously? Im talking about (if you include overstayed visas, plus anchor babies, refugees, illegal immigration) over 4 million a year!
-
@calimar28 - you've already made it clear that you blame immigration for everything. And I can see why it's a factor.
But I can't understand why you've so blind to the medical industry rip off - the EU countries have got immigration issues too but still have PRIVATE healthcare systems as good as America's (tho' cheaper) and PUBLIC healthcare systems that are better than America's
Why do you allow this to go on?????
He doesn't want the money to go to Americans.
He wants it to go to Israel. Time to hang this traitor
